Welcome to Frett & Co. Clockworks, where vintage watches are given new life with timeless elegance. I'm Brendan Frett, the founder of Frett & Co. Clockworks. Although I am a scientist by profession, my passion lies in the art of watchmaking and horology. My journey into this fascinating world began when I inherited my great-great-grandfather’s 1880 Waltham pocket watch. The craftsmanship and precision of a timepiece nearly 150 years old inspired me to delve deeper into the intricacies of watchmaking, particularly in the realms of pocket watch conversions and creating exquisite marriage watches.
In March 2020, I founded Frett & Co. Clockworks in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA to share this passion with others. We specialize in small batch, custom restorations of vintage, antique, and modern watches, with a focus on pocket watch conversions to modernize the timepiece experience. Our mission is to preserve the history and enhance the beauty of each timepiece, blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative techniques.
At Frett & Co. Clockworks, we focus on giving watches a second life through meticulous restorations. We carefully disassemble, inspect, and service each timepiece, ensuring it runs as perfectly as the day it was made. Our expertise extends to thermally coloring movements using traditional watchmaking methods, adding dynamic, colored accents that highlight the intricate details of each watch.
We take pride in our ability to convert classic American and European pocket watches into stylish wristwatches, offering a unique blend of history and modernity. Each watch reflects our dedication to quality and our love for horology. Many of our restored timepieces feature a see-through case back, allowing you to admire the beautifully refinished movement.
