Waltham Secometer conversion from 1930

American Waltham Watch Co. was in operation from 1852-1957 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Waltham watches took place at their facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.

This Waltham timepiece was manufactured in Waltham, Massachusetts, and was finished in 1930. It is powered by the grade No 1235 movement, which is a 17 jewel Waltham in-house movement that was produced between 1924-1934. The movement has been restored and custom refinished with blue accents, and the movement screws have been finished in blue as well. The accents were created through thermally treating each movement part by hand to color the iron based components. The hands of the watch have not been restored and are in their original heat plum color. The Waltham dial is metal and features a secometer complication. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. This case is designed with adjustable lugs making the watch easy to wind and set. The adjustable lugs also permit a more custom fit for different wrist sizes. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure.
