Elgin National Watch Co. was in operation from 1864-1968 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Elgin watches took place at their facility in Elgin, Illinois.

This Elgin timepiece was manufactured in Elgin, Illinois, and was finished in 1910. The watch is powered by Elgin’s in-house 17 jewel Grade 344 movement, which was produced between 1906-1928. The movement features 17 jewels, beautifully decorated ratchet and crown wheels, and elegant damaskeening. The movement has been restored and custom refinished with blue accents. The accents were created by thermally treating each movement part by hand to color the iron based components. The hands have not been restored and are in their original gold color in the fancy Louis XIV style. The brass jewel settings have been cleaned to bring out their original golden color. The Elgin dial is in the fancy style and in excellent condition. The dial features elegant numerals, gold and silver patterns, and sky blue coloring. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure.
