Illinois Watch Co. was in operation from 1869-1948 and produced some of the most renowned railroad-grade movements ever manufactured. Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.

This Illinois timepiece was manufactured in Springfield, Illinois, and was finished in 1922. The watch is powered by the 406 grade movement, which is a 19 jewel Illinois in-house movement that was produced between 1913-1926. The movement is in exceptional condition with beautiful damaskeening and bright golden movement accents. The golden accents were completed by Illinois at the time of manufacture in 1922. This is a private label movement that was completed by a jeweler with the name Elbros, which we like to believe was for ‘The Bros’. The hands of the watch are in their original blue color, which was also completed by Illinois at the time of manufacture. The Illinois dial is metal with a beautiful circular textured guilloche motif that is dynamic in the light. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the timepiece comes complete with the original 25 year gold filled pocket watch case.
