44 mm Illinois 21 jewel conversion from 1923

Illinois Watch Co. was in operation from 1869-1948 and produced some of the most renowned railroad-grade movements ever manufactured. Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.

This Illinois timepiece was manufactured in Springfield, Illinois, and was finished in 1923. The watch is powered by the 274 grade movement, which is a 21 jewel Illinois in-house movement that was produced between 1911-1926. The movement is in exceptional condition with beautiful damaskeening, has been restored, and also has original golden movement accents. The accents were completed by Illinois at the time of manufacture and have not been altered. The hands of the watch are in their original steel blue condition, and this was completed by Illinois at the time of manufacture. The Illinois dial is metal with a beautiful vertical textured motif. We matched the dial with a custom worn strap to help capture the vintage aesthetic. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure.
