The Ball Watch Company was founded by Webb C. Ball, who established the specifications for railroad grade movements. The Ball Watch Company purchased movements from top pocket watch brands and further worked on the watches to perfect them.

This Ball-Waltham watch was manufactured in partnership with the Waltham Watch Company and was finished in 1906. It is powered by the Official Standard 1899 movement, which is an overhauled Waltham movement perfected by the Ball Watch Company. The movement is in the (almost) impossible to find ‘hunter configuration’ so the crown is at 3 o’clock and works like a modern Ball wrist watch. The movement is in exceptional condition, has been restored, and also has been custom refinished with blue accents. The accents were created by thermally treating each movement part by hand to color the iron based components, and the hands of the watch have been restored using the same thermal treatment process. The Ball dial is in excellent condition and appears flawless. The watch is cased in a new, silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the timepiece can be easily enjoyed on your wrist. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure.
