Elgin National Watch Co. was in operation from 1864-1968 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Elgin watches took place at their facility in Elgin, Illinois.

This Elgin timepiece was manufactured in Elgin, Illinois, and was finished in 1906. It is driven by Elgin's proprietary 17-jewel Grade 322 movement, a limited production movement with only 9,000 manufactured between 1904-1906. The movement boasts 17 jewels, a beautiful motif on the balance, and raised jewel settings. The movement components were refinished with stylish blue accents on the screws and hardware through precise hand-thermal treatment using traditional watchmaking techniques. The watch hands have undergone the same thermal treatment process, while the brass jewel settings have been cleaned to reveal their original golden sheen. The Elgin dial, crafted in a fancy style, is made of porcelain enamel and remains in excellent condition despite its age. It features a striking turquoise ring in the center, beautifully contrasted by intricate gold motifs along the edge. The elegant Arabic numerals, designed in a fancy script, add to the dial's sophistication.

The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel pocket watch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your future adventures.
