Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This Hamilton timepiece, crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and completed in 1925, is driven by the 902 grade movement—a 19-jewel Hamilton in-house movement manufactured for a few short years between 1924 to 1926—an absolute collectors dream. The movement has undergone restoration and a refinish with deep blue accents, including the screws. These accents were meticulously achieved by thermally heating each part by hand, resulting in the distinctive blue coloring of the iron-based components. The watch hands have also been restored using the same thermal treatment process to their original deep blue hue. The Hamilton dial is in near flawless condition, and features Arabic Numerals and a elegnat circular motif on the edge.
The timepiece is housed in a 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting and to allow for a more tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case features front, back, and crown gaskets, which provide water resistance up to 50 meters, although it is advisable to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The watch is fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the original 14 karat gold filled case will be included as well.
