Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This Hamilton timepiece, crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and completed in 1929, is driven by the 912 grade movement—a 17-jewel Hamilton in-house movement manufactured between 1923 and 1937. The movement has undergone restoration and a refinish with deep blue accents, including the screws. The accents were meticulously achieved by hand-thermal treatment of each part, resulting in the distinctive blue coloring of the iron-based components. The watch hands remain in their original condition. The Hamilton dial is in excellent shape, showcasing a captivating circular motif and numerals intricately carved from the metal.
The timepiece is housed in a new silver-colored wristwatch conversion case designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting and to allow for a more tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case, featuring front, back, and crown gaskets, provides water resistance up to 50 meters, although it is advisable to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The watch is fully serviced, primed and prepared for your upcoming adventures.
