Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This Hamilton timepiece, originally crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and completed in 1924, is powered by the 916 grade movement—a 17-jewel Hamilton in-house movement manufactured between 1923 and 1928. The movement has been meticulously restored and refinished with deep blue accents, including the screws, achieved through precise thermal heating of each iron-based component by hand. The watch hands have also undergone restoration using the same heat treatment process. The Hamilton dial is in excellent condition, featuring a radiant guilloche pattern and golden applied indices that shimmer in the light. In this dial, the Hamilton logo is uniquely placed at the sub second complication. This dial design is one-of-a-kind and we have yet to come across one similar.
The timepiece is housed in a new 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case is equipped with front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, although we recommend removing the watch before water activities. The watch is fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the original 14 karat gold filled case will be included as well.
