Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This Hamilton timepiece was manufactured in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was finished in 1937, and features a unique dial for this model. It is powered by the 912 grade movement, which is a 17 jewel Hamilton in-house movement produced between 1923-1937. The movement has been restored and custom refinished with deep blue accents, and the movement screws have been finished in blue as well. The accents were created through thermally treating each movement part by hand to color the iron based components. The hands of the watch have not been restored and are in their original golden condition. The Hamilton dial is in excellent condition and is a unique dial for the 912 series. Since this timepiece was produced in the last year the 912 was manufactured, the dial is in a style more commonly seen with the more modern Hamilton 917 variant. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. This case is designed with adjustable lugs making the watch easy to wind and set. The adjustable lugs also permit a more custom fit for different wrist sizes. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the timepiece comes with the original 14 karat gold filled pocket watch case.
