Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This Hamilton timepiece, made in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1923, is powered by the 916 grade movement—a Hamilton in-house caliber with 17 jewels, produced exclusively from 1923 to 1928. The movement has been meticulously restored and refinished with deep blue accents on movement hardware, achieved through precise thermal heating of each movement component by hand. The watch hands remain in their original plum color and are unrestored. The Hamilton dial is metal and features a beautiful guilloche star motif at the center.
The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting, ensuring a tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before participating in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures.
