This Hamilton timepiece was manufactured in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA, in 1928 and is powered by the 916-grade movement—a Hamilton in-house caliber with 17 jewels, produced exclusively from 1923 to 1928. The movement has been meticulously restored and refinished, featuring deep blue accents on its hardware achieved through precise hand-applied thermal heating of each component. The watch hands have also been restored using this same process. The metal Hamilton dial showcases a stunning vertically brushed finish, complemented by applied golden indices that catch and reflect light beautifully. The heat-blued hands provide exceptional contrast, enhancing the dial's elegance and readability.
The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting, ensuring a tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before participating in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures.
