Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This Hamilton timepiece, made in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1935, is powered by the 918 grade movement—a Hamilton in-house caliber with 19 jewels, produced exclusively from 1928 to 1936. The movement showcases striking blue accents, including screws that were thermally colored to give the iron-based components their distinct hue. Unlike many other vintage watches, the original hands have been preserved in their authentic state, enhancing the timepiece's historical appeal. The Hamilton dial is in excellent condition, featuring elegant golden numerals that shimmer under different lighting conditions.
The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting, ensuring a tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before participating in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures. In keeping with our dedication to preserving history, the original 14-karat gold-filled pocket watch case will be included as well.
