Hamilton Drivers Conversion 921 from the 1940s

Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This Hamilton pocket watch was manufactured in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and was finished circa 1940s. The watch is configured in the classic drivers style, which features an off-set crown so the time can be easily read with hands on the wheel. The watch is powered by the advanced Hamilton 921 Model 1 movement, which is a sturdy and robust 21 jewel movement that features a jeweled motor barrel. The movement has been restored and custom refinished with deep blue accents, and the movement screws have been finished in blue as well. The accents were created through thermally treating each movement part by hand to color the iron based components. The hands of the watch are untouched and are in their original, graphite-black color. The enamel lettering on the movement has been restored and the brass jewel casings have been polished to restore their original bright, golden color. The Hamilton dial is in great condition, features Arabic numerals, and is metal with painted indices. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the original case will be included as well.
