Hamilton Watch Co. was in operation from 1892-1969 and manufactured some of the highest end, most accurate watches ever produced. Manufacturing of Hamilton watches took place at their facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This Hamilton timepiece, crafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and completed in 1927, is driven by the 922 grade movement—an in-house Hamilton caliber with 23 jewels produced between 1924 and 1930. The movement has undergone restoration and a personalized refinishing process, featuring distinctive blue accents, including the screws. These accents are achieved through hand thermally treating each component, imparting a blue hue to the iron-based parts. The original gold color of the watch hands remains untouched. The dial was manufactured by Hamilton for Tiffany & Co and features Tiffany branding. This piece was originally for sale at a Tiffany & Co store in a partnership between Hamilton and Tiffany.
Encased in a newly designed 316L stainless steel conversion case, this watch allows for comfortable wear on the wrist. The case is equipped with adjustable lugs, facilitating easy winding and setting of the watch. The adjustable lugs also enable a more tailored fit for various wrist sizes. With front, back, and crown gaskets, the case ensures water resistance up to 50 meters, although it is advisable to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The timepiece has undergone a comprehensive servicing and is prepared for your upcoming adventures.
