Illinois Watch Co. was in operation from 1869-1948 and produced some of the most renowned railroad-grade movements ever manufactured. Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.

This Illinois timepiece, finished in 1922, was made in Springfield, Illinois. It runs on a Grade 274 movement, a 21-jewel in-house design produced by Illinois between 1911 and 1926. The movement has been carefully restored, preserving the original gold accents. These accents were added by Illinois during the watch's manufacture in 1922. The watch hands retain their original heat blue color and remain unrestored. The Illinois dial is metal with an elegant guilloche motif at the center that appears exceptionally dynamic under different lighting.

The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting, ensuring a tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before participating in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the original 14-karat gold-filled pocket watch case will be included as well.
