Illinois Watch Co. was in operation from 1869-1948 and produced some of the most renowned railroad-grade movements ever manufactured. Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.

This Illinois timepiece was manufactured in Springfield, Illinois, and was finished in 1926. The watch is powered by the 407 grade movement, which is a 19 jewel Illinois in-house movement that was produced between 1913-1927 with only 5,360 produced. The movement is in exceptional condition with beautiful striped damaskeening. The movement is finished with golden accents that are original to the watch and were completed at the time of manufacture. The hands of the watch had been restored by hand using thermal heating. The Illinois dial is metal and features a secometer complication.

The timepiece is housed in a new silver-colored wristwatch conversion case designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting and to allow for a more tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case, featuring front, back, and crown gaskets, provides water resistance up to 50 meters, although it is advisable to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The watch is fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the original pocket watch case will be included as well.
