Illinois Watch Co. was in operation from 1869-1948 and produced some of the most renowned railroad-grade movements ever manufactured. Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.

This Illinois timepiece, crafted in Springfield, Illinois, was completed in 1926. It is powered by the 407 grade movement, a 19-jewel in-house Illinois creation produced between 1913 and 1926. The movement is in exceptional condition, featuring beautiful striped damaskeening and original golden accents applied by Illinois during manufacturing. The hands remain in their original, unrestored condition. The Illinois dial is metal and includes a secometer complication, which elegantly displays the passage of seconds using a disc mechanism.

The timepiece is housed in a new silver-colored wristwatch conversion case designed with adjustable lugs for ease in winding and setting and to allow for a more tailored fit across various wrist sizes. The case, featuring front, back, and crown gaskets, provides water resistance up to 50 meters, although it is advisable to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The watch is fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the original 14 karat gold filled pocket watch case is included as well.
