Illinois Watch Co. was in operation from 1869-1948 and produced some of the most renowned railroad-grade movements ever manufactured. Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.

This Illinois timepiece was crafted in Springfield, Illinois, and completed in 1921. It is powered by the 405 grade movement, a 17-jewel Illinois in-house movement produced between 1911 and 1929. The movement has undergone meticulous restoration and servicing, with special attention given to preserving the original golden hardware added by Illinois during its manufacture. The metal Illinois dial features a stunning guilloché motif around the center, with golden indices that match the golden hardware on the movement. The hands are original and have not been restored, showcasing a beautiful golden-orange color that provides exceptional contrast with the dial.

The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your future adventures. In our dedication to preserving history, the original 25-year gold-filled pocket watch case is included as well. This addition honors the timepiece's heritage and provides a meaningful connection to its past.
