Illinois Watch Co. was in operation from 1869-1948 and produced some of the most renowned railroad-grade movements ever manufactured. Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.

This exquisite Illinois timepiece, crafted in Springfield, Illinois, was completed in 1920. It is powered by the distinguished Monarch grade movement, a 19-jewel Illinois in-house creation produced between 1913 and 1926. The movement has undergone meticulous restoration and servicing, with special attention given to preserving the original golden hardware added by Illinois during its manufacture in 1920. The Illinois dial is a masterpiece, featuring a stunning guilloche and gilt finish. The center of the dial is intricately detailed with beautiful swirling motifs, while the outer section boasts a captivating circular pattern. This timepiece is a true testament to the artistry and craftsmanship of its era.

The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your future adventures. In our dedication to preserving history, the original 14-karat, 25-year gold-filled pocket watch case is included as well. This addition honors the timepiece's heritage and provides a meaningful connection to its past.
