Illinois Secometer conversion from 1925

Illinois Watch Co. was in operation from 1869-1948 and produced some of the most renowned railroad-grade movements ever manufactured. Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.

This Illinois timepiece was manufactured in Springfield, Illinois, and was finished in 1925. The watch is powered by the 406 grade movement, which is a 19 jewel Illinois in-house movement that was produced between 1913-1926. The movement is in exceptional condition with beautiful striped damaskeening and also features a bridge plate design so the entire gear train is on display. The golden accents on the movement are original and were added at the time of manufacture. The Illinois dial is metal, in excellent condition, and features an incredible secometer complication. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the original case will be included as well.
