Swiss Made Bulova 42 mm Conversion

This pocket watch conversion was manufactured by Bulova Watch Company in the 1970s. The watch is Swiss Made and is powered by the Unitas (ETA) 6498 movement, which is the hunter version of the base caliber of Panerai’s OP X. The movement has been custom refinished with vibrant blue accents. The accents were created through thermally treating each movement part by hand to color the iron based components. The dial and hands are original, and the watch features a subdial at the 6 o’clock position with a second hand. The dial is a ‘linen-dial’, which features a cross-hatch like pattern that is dynamic in the light. The watch is cased in a wristwatch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist.
