Rockford Watch Co. was in operation from 1873-1915 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Rockford watches took place at their facility in Rockford, Illinois.
This Rockford timepiece was manufactured in Rockford, Illinois, and was finished in 1910. The timepiece is powered by Rockford’s in-house Grade 375 movement that was produced for only one year in 1910. The movement is in exceptional condition with beautiful radiant damaskeening and also features a three finger bridge so the gear train is on display. The movement has been custom refinished with deep blue accents, and the movement screws have been finished in blue as well. The accents were created by thermally treating each movement part by hand to color the iron based components. The hands of the watch are in their original heat blue color and have not been restored. The Rockford dial is porcelain enamel with Arabic Numerals, is double sunk, and is in excellent condition. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. This case is designed with adjustable lugs that permit a more custom fit for different wrist sizes. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the original 25 year gold filled pocket watch case will be provided as well.
