Rockford Watch Co. was in operation from 1873-1915 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Rockford watches took place at their facility in Rockford, Illinois.
This Rockford timepiece was manufactured in Rockford, Illinois, and was finished in 1913. The timepiece is powered by Rockford’s in-house Grade 330 movement that was produced for a few years between 1908-1913. The movement is in excellent condition with beautiful striped damaskeening and also features a three finger bridge so the gears are on display. The movement has been custom refinished with deep blue accents, and the movement screws have been finished in blue as well. The accents were created by thermally treating each movement part by hand to color the iron based components. The hands of the watch have been restored using the same thermal treatment process. The Rockford dial is porcelain enamel with Arabic Numerals and is in excellent condition. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wrist watch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. The watch comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure.
