Rockford Watch Co. was in operation from 1873-1915 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Rockford watches took place at their facility in Rockford, Illinois.
This Rockford pocket watch was manufactured in Rockford, Illinois, and was finished in 1910. The timepiece is powered by Rockford’s in-house Grade 330 movement that was produced between 1908 to 1913. Movement components were carefully refinished with blue accents on the screws and hardware using precise hand-thermal treatment, a traditional watchmaking technique that improves corrosion resistance and movement aesthetics. The jewel settings, gear train, balance, and balance weights were individually hand-polished, restoring their original golden luster and sheen. The watch hands are unrestored and in their original heat blue condition. The Rockford dial is made of porcelain-enamel and in excellent condition. The heat blued hands provide striking contrast against the dial, offering a visual delight each time the time is checked.
The timepiece is housed in a new 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case is equipped with front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, although we recommend removing the watch before water activities. The watch is fully serviced and ready for your upcoming adventures. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the timepiece comes with the original Rockford branded 14 karat gold filled case.
