American Waltham Watch Co. was in operation from 1852-1957 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Waltham watches took place at their facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Crafted in Waltham, Massachusetts, and completed in 1924, this Waltham timepiece features the Grade No. 1225 movement—a 17-jewel Waltham in-house movement produced for one year in 1924. The movement has been fully restored and refinished with stylish blue accents on the screws and movement hardware, achieved through precise thermal coloring completed by hand. The watch hands have not been restored and are in their original plum color. The Waltham dial showcases a stunning guilloche texture around the face and an elegant Art Deco design. The plum hands contrast brilliantly against the dial, making time-checking a visual delight.
The timepiece is encased in a 316L stainless steel wristwatch conversion case, designed with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, ensuring a comfortable fit across various wrist sizes. The case includes front, back, and crown gaskets, providing water resistance up to 50 meters, though it is recommended to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. The timepiece comes fully serviced and ready for your next adventure. Because of our dedication to preserving history, the original 14 karat gold filled case will be included as well.
