American Waltham Watch Co. was in operation from 1852-1957 and was an American pocket watch manufacturer. Manufacturing of Waltham watches took place at their facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Crafted in Waltham, Massachusetts, and completed in 1901, this Waltham timepiece is driven by the Riverside movement—a 19-jewel Waltham in-house movement produced from 1895 to 1922. The movement has been completely restored and refinished by incorporating blue accents to the screws and movement hardware. These accents were achieved through the precise hand-thermal treatment of each movement part. The hands of the watch are in their original condition and have not been restored.
The Waltham dial, made of porcelain-enamel, has beautiful golden accents and features a golden motif at the center. The Arabic numerals are complemented by golden accents on the perimeter of the dial, which provides beautiful contrast and is dynamic in the light. The timepiece is encased in a newly designed silver-colored wristwatch conversion case to ensure comfortable wear with adjustable lugs for easy winding and setting, providing a more tailored fit for wrists of various sizes. The case is equipped with front, back, and crown gaskets and offers water resistance up to 50 meters, although it is advisable to remove the watch before engaging in water activities. Having undergone thorough servicing, this timepiece is ready for your upcoming adventures.
